PASCALE APPORA
Pascale Appora-Gnekindy, from the Central African Republic, owns Kea-Kwis Production in Bangui. She co-directed Eat Bitter (2020) and directed My Eyes To Hear (2017) and Two Sisters (2019). She trained in documentary filmmaking through Ateliers Varan in 2016.
NINGYI SUN
Ningyi Sun, Chinese filmmaker based in New York. She codirected Eat Bitter (2020) and produced Intimate (2022), awarded Best Romantic Short. She holds a master’s from Fletcher School and worked for UN peacekeeping in the Central African Republic.
